Xmas Stocking Ornament

The graduated woman from the sewing project, are making different items with the sewing machines. Now that Christmas season is arriving, we would like to show all of you what these women can do. This Christmas stocking is made with typical material; they can also make different sizes. If you or your friends are visiting Guatemala you can buy them when you are here, just let us know if you want to order some in advance, so the women can make them. The new group has started the sewing classes!

                                                            

Our sponsored mothers have iniciated the sewing classes in Panajachel. Thanks to your sponsor these women are able to improve their lives by learning to use a sewing machine, learn a new skill, promote the habit of saving money, and train them with live skills. These mothers are really enthusiastic with learning new things every day. Through the use of a sewing machine these women are able to produce more items in less time, and have a higher quality products, wich increases their selling merchandise.
